This time I decided I needed to add some new work appropriate pieces to my wardrobe. I can't even remember the last time I did this. I was really looking forward to a new blazer, and a more formal look. The pieces I was sent all worked together or separate so that was a great start. Being able to mix and match is always a plus.
Bay to Baubles Fisher Filigree Metal Collar Necklace in Silver $28
S&D Mandy Straight Leg Pant in Black $94
Kensie Rebekah Stretch Crepe Blazer in Black $88
Fun2Fun Holston Crochet Trim Solid Blouse in Cobalt $38
These were all great pieces coming out of the box, but once I tried on the pants I wasn't crazy about the fit. They felt tight, although a nice stretchy material, I didn't think they screamed office attire. Loved the blue blouse, but surprise I already own a very similar one that I wear often. Its a great color. The blazer was super cute, but the sizing was a bit small, this is an item I could exchange, but at the $88 range I think I'll have to pass, especially since I recently saw a Kensie blazer similar to this one at Macy's for a fraction of the price. The necklace I'm keeping for sure. It's shiny, makes a statement, and although I probably won't wear to work, I think it would be a great going out piece. At $28 I can use my styling fee towards the purchase.
